Legal war erupts as Karisma’s children claim rightful share; Priya Sachdev accused of fake will and property grab
The death of prominent businessman Sanjay Kapur has triggered an explosive legal fight over his ₹30,000 crore property, pulling Bollywood into a storm.
Children of actress Karisma Kapoor have now approached the Delhi High Court, demanding that they be recognized as lawful heirs to their father’s vast fortune. Their petition accuses Sanjay’s third wife, Priya Sachdev, of withholding property records and attempting to fabricate a fake will to tighten her grip over the empire.

The petition cites a family meeting on July 30, 2025, where Priya, along with associates Dinesh Agarwal and Nitin Sharma, allegedly conspired to suppress the children’s inheritance rights. The will, they claim, is forged and fraudulent.
Karisma’s children have requested the court to:
• Divide the estate equally, granting them 1/5th share each
• Freeze all personal properties of Sanjay Kapur until the dispute is resolved.
The legal battle has intensified scrutiny on the Kapur family feud, with high-stakes implications for both the business empire and Bollywood’s public image.
