A one-man musical presentation titled “Vachana Dani – From Sound to Soundlessness” by National Award-winning music composer and flutist Bapu Padmanabha will be held in Bengaluru on 18 November 2025. The event focuses on presenting the internal philosophical essence of Vachanas through meditative music, portraying a journey from sound to silence with the intent of offering the audience an experience aimed at emotional stability, mindfulness and inner awareness.
The presentation has been conceptualized, composed and performed by Bapu Padmanabha, with stage direction by T.S. Nagabharana, costume design by Nagini Bharana and set design by Appayya. The program is scheduled to take place at the Indian Institute of World Culture on B.P. Wadia Road in Bengaluru, beginning at 6:00 PM. The organisers state that the effort is to bring the ideas and messages found in the Vachanas closer to the public through a musical approach.
A press meet to announce the event will be held on 4 November 2025, inviting members of the media and representatives from the cultural sector to interact with the artist and the creative team.
