I do admit that I did like 2022’s Troll. It was fun little twist on the giant monster film genre, but add a bit of Norwegian folklore into the mix. It wasn’t perfect, but it still entertaining to watch. This new preview for the follow-up sequel looks interesting, with main three characters coming back for another troll attack emergence, which was hinted at in the ending of the first film. It will be interesting to see how this movie ultimately plays out, will it lean into the goofier giant monster mayhem that the Godzilla movies are known for, or will it be more character based. Or maybe a bit of both. Only time will tell….for Troll 2, but I am looking forward to seeing it.
