Rumours suggesting a delay in Rocking Star Yash’s upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have been denied by the production team, confirming that the worldwide theatrical release remains locked for March 19, 2026. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh clarified the situation after speaking to the makers, who stated that the film continues on its original schedule.
The final phase of shooting is underway in Bengaluru, while post-production and VFX work began earlier this year alongside Yash’s involvement in the Ramayana project. The makers are set to begin promotional activities in January 2026.
The release date aligns with major festive occasions including Gudi Padwa, Ugadi and regional New Year holidays, followed shortly by Eid, providing a wide holiday window at the box office.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is being made in English and Kannada, with dubbed versions prepared in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and other languages. Toxic is jointly produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under the banners of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.
