Bengaluru becomes the third city in Tesla’s India expansion after Delhi NCR and Mumbai, with plans for a Supercharger, service centre, and experience centre in the works.
Bengaluru is officially on Tesla’s India map as the company confirmed the city as its third destination after Delhi NCR and Mumbai. The announcement came during the inauguration of Tesla’s Delhi Experience Centre in Aerocity.

In Bengaluru, Tesla India will initially set up a Supercharger station and a service centre, with an experience centre also in the pipeline. The company has not shared timelines or exact locations for these facilities. However, industry observers expect Bengaluru could follow the model of Delhi and Mumbai, which each have one operational Supercharger hub and plans for three more.
Tesla’s existing Supercharger network in India features Version 4 units, which technically support charging for EVs from all brands. Currently, they are reserved for Tesla vehicles, but access for other EVs is expected in the near future.

This expansion coincides with Tesla preparing to deliver its Model Y in India, the base-spec RWD variant in September and the Long Range version in October, priced between ₹59.89 lakh and ₹67.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
With Bengaluru emerging as a growing EV hub, Tesla’s arrival could accelerate the city’s transition to premium electric mobility while also boosting charging infrastructure and customer accessibility.
