The audio launch of the film 31 Days, starring Niranjan Shetty of Jaalidays fame, was held at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath on Saturday.
This marks the 150th film scored by music director V. Manohar. The songs for 31 Days have been written, sung, and composed by him.
Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao, former MP Jayaprakash Hegde, music director Gurukiran, and actress-producer Geethapriya participated in the event. They released the songs and wished the film success. On this occasion, the film team felicitated V. Manohar for completing 150 films as a music composer. Members of the film team addressed the gathering.
Speaking at the event, V. Manohar said that becoming a music director was unplanned. He came to the film industry to become a director but turned into a composer due to Upendra. His first film as music director was Tarle Nanmaga, and 31 Days is his 150th. He added that the film includes 11 songs sung by popular singers. He also mentioned that he has known lead actor Niranjan Shetty for many years and that the film is produced by Niranjan’s wife, Nagaveni.
Niranjan Shetty stated that Jaalidays was his debut as a hero and 31 Days is his 8th film in a lead role. He has appeared in significant roles in 35 films. The producer of 31 Days is his wife Nagaveni N. Shetty, and the music is by his mentor V. Manohar. He said he was happy that Dinesh Gundu Rao, Gurukiran, and Jayaprakash Hegde—who has known him since childhood—unveiled the songs. He added that he had studied at Chitrakala Parishath, and thus the audio launch was held there. He informed that the film will release in a few days.
Producer Nagaveni N. Shetty requested audience support for their first production venture.
Director Raj Ravikumar mentioned that he had worked as an associate director on several films and that Niranjan Shetty gave him the opportunity to direct through 31 Days. He described the film as a high-voltage love story.
Actress Prajwala Suvarna also spoke about her role in the film.
