The SIT team resumes its investigation today at points 11, 12, and 13 in Dharmasthala after a brief Sunday break, as suspense deepens over alleged mass graves.
The ongoing skeletal remains investigation in Dharmasthala village has now entered its climactic phase. Launched on July 29 based on a shocking tip-off from an anonymous person, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has completed searches at 10 of the 13 marked locations. Today, focus shifts to points 11, 12, and 13, locations now at the center of intense public interest.
So far, point 6 yielded more than a dozen bone fragments, while point 7 revealed a buried handkerchief at a depth of five feet, raising eyebrows. Point 1 led to the recovery of a PAN card, debit card, and a red blouse. No evidence was found at points 2 to 5 and 8 to 10.
According to the informant, point 13 is highly significant. He reportedly pointed out the exact spot, suggesting it would reveal a skeleton. This has intensified scrutiny over whether the marking will lead to another major discovery.

Adding to the gravity of the situation, allegations have surfaced regarding the nearby village of Kalleri, where the same informant claims to have seen the half-naked body of a 12-15-year-old schoolgirl. The informant alleged signs of sexual assault, further prompting speculation that excavation could soon extend to that area once the 13 points are investigated.
With the SIT, forensic experts, and revenue officials resuming operations today, supported by Hitachi machines and a 60-70 member team, expectations are high that crucial evidence could emerge. The entire state is watching closely as the search enters its most crucial stage.
