In a new development in the ongoing Dharmasthala buried secrets investigation, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has recovered a PAN card, a debit card, and a red blouse from the first excavation site (Point-1). These items were found while digging at a location identified by the anonymous complainant, marking the first tangible evidence in the case after earlier digs yielded nothing.

The digging resumed on the banks of the Netravati River today, following two unsuccessful excavation attempts at other marked points. While Point-2 and Point-3 had shown no findings, the discovery at Point-1 is now the focus of the SIT’s inquiry, with forensic teams expected to examine the recovered articles.
According to advocate Manjunath, who represents Sujatha Bhatt, the items found were located in the precise area specified by the whistleblower. The red blouse, in particular, could be a critical clue, though officials are yet to confirm any connection to a missing person or crime.
Currently, a team of 20 laborers is continuing the digging under SIT supervision, following detailed instructions from the complainant. Investigators are now working to establish the identity linked to the recovered PAN and debit card, which may significantly move the case forward.
