Director Simple Suni’s film Gatha Vaibhava is set to release worldwide on November 14. The movie features Dushyant in the lead role, with Ashika Ranganath as the female lead. The team recently unveiled the teaser as part of the promotions.
A press meet for Gatha Vaibhava was held at a private hotel in Bengaluru. Speaking at the event, director Simple Suni said the project was taken up very seriously and was planned under his own banner. He mentioned that it felt like making four films during the journey and added that the film has turned out as he envisioned. Suni also said he is waiting for the release like the audience and that every shot has come out well. He credited producer Deepak for providing complete support, called Dushyant a natural artist, and said Ashika has become like family. According to him, the film includes both entertainment and emotions.
Actor Dushyant stated that the shooting lasted for more than 100 days, with portions filmed in Portugal. He said the release was delayed due to graphics work but that the film has exceeded expectations. Dushyant added that among Suni’s works, this will stand out as one of the best and that it will also be a milestone in Ashika’s career. He confirmed the film’s release date as November 14 and mentioned that the songs are planned for release in October.

Actress Ashika Ranganath described Gatha Vaibhava as a special film. She recalled first hearing the story during the shoot in Thanjavur and said it felt refreshing. She revealed that she appears in four different looks in the film and that shooting under a home production was a unique experience. Ashika also said the film was shot on a grand scale and shared her positive experience of working with the team, calling it a different kind of project.
Gatha Vaibhava is presented as a blend of a romantic love story and scientific thriller elements. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are by Simple Suni. The film is produced under the Suni Cinemas banner by Deepik and Suni. William David has handled cinematography, and Judah Sandy has composed the music.
