The script pooja of the Kannada film Jumki was held at the Chamundeshwari Temple on Chamundi Hill, Mysore.
M.J. Jayaraj, who previously acted in and directed the film Dhaiva, is directing Jumki and also playing the lead role. The film is produced by Sangamma Ramanna Meghalamani under the banner Kalpavruksha Creations.
Jumki is described as a love story. The story and screenplay are by VCN Manjuraj Surya. Siddharth will handle cinematography, and Vijeth Manjaya is composing the music.
The pooja was attended by director and actor M.J. Jayaraj, journalist and artist VCN Manjuraj, cinematographer Siddharth H.R., and associate director Chandrakant Gujjal. The team performed the script pooja and sought the blessings of Goddess Chamundeshwari.
The film team is currently in the process of selecting additional cast members. The shooting is expected to begin soon.
