Many may already know that a new film titled Sarkari Nyayabele Angadi (Government Fair Price Shop) has gone on floors. The team has quietly completed nearly three-fourths of the shoot and is now gearing up for the final leg of filming. During a recent media meet, the team released the film’s making video and shared some behind-the-scenes experiences.
As the title suggests, the story revolves around a government-run fair price shop and the public distribution system. The plot is set in a rural backdrop, focusing on the goings-on in ration distribution. Actress Ragini Dwivedi, who has so far captivated audiences in glamorous roles, will for the first time be seen portraying a rural village girl. Actor-turned-politician Kumar Bangarappa, Doddanna, and others play key roles in the film.
Speaking about the shoot and her role, Ragini said, “This is a pure rural-flavored film. For the first time, I’m playing a village girl. My character shows how a young woman from a rural area stands up against the corrupt practices in her village’s fair price shop. The entire movie is set in the rural environment of Mandya district. The film is shaping up really well, and I’m confident rural audiences will love it.”

Lead actor Kumar Bangarappa added, “This story will strike a chord with rural audiences. Many people have personally experienced the flaws in the public distribution system, and this film will resonate with them. After a long time, I’m portraying an ordinary rural man. The film delivers a message about food security. Shooting this film has been an unforgettable experience.”
Directed and filmed by Satwik Pavan Kumar, who earlier helmed Taayavva, Sarkari Nyayabele Angadi is produced by Teju Murthy and S. Padmavathi under the Jayashankar Talkies banner. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are by B. Ramamurthy, with music composed by Ananth Aryan. Most of the filming has taken place in and around Doddrasinkere in Mandya district. Veteran politician Shivarame Gowda also appears in a significant role.
The making video release event was attended by Sarkari Nyayabele Angadi Owners’ Association President Krishnappa, Milk Producers’ Association Director Satish, producers B.M. Harish and B.M. Girish, Cheluva Murthy, and several others.
The final phase of shooting is set to begin shortly, with the team aiming to release the film by the end of this year.
