The Rajasthan police and the Narcotics Control Bureau have busted a huge drug lab in the remote village of Dantrai in Sirohi district. The illicit facility was being used to manufacture the potent psychotropic drug Mephedrone.

As per reports, hundreds of kgs of chemicals needed for the manufacturing process have been busted. The officials have revealed that the chemicals and confiscated found in the raid was enough to manufacture about 100 kgs of Mephedrone, which could have been sold for Rs 40 crores or above in the drug market.
Reports have revealed that the usage of the potent psychotropic drug Mephedrone is increasing in several areas of maharashtra, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
Four people have been arrested for running the drug lab in Sirohi. Reports say that the accused had already made and sold over 8 kgs of Mephedrone.
