Rahul, who had small roles in films like Yuvarathnaa and Bagheera, is now making his debut as a lead actor in the Kannada film industry through the movie Nee Nange Allava. The film is being produced under the Suram Movie banner.
Rahul, a native of Bengaluru, holds a BBA degree. With a long-standing interest in cinema, he began auditioning early on. He trained at Usha Bhandari’s acting workshop and started his film journey after completing the course. He considers this film an important milestone and has been rehearsing in advance for both dance and acting before going on set.
Rahul cites the late actor Puneeth Rajkumar (Appu) as his inspiration. He mentions that he feels fulfilled for having played a small role in Yuvarathnaa. He also expresses gratitude to actor Srimurali for his support and guidance, stating that Srimurali has been a motivator for his fitness journey.
Rahul met music director Suraj, through whom he was introduced to Manoj. This meeting led to the development of the story for Nee Nange Allava. After finalizing the script, the team approached Jayaram Devasamudra, who agreed to produce the film under the Suram Movie banner. Jayaram Devasamudra has previously produced Nidra Devi – Next Door, and has announced a project with Chaitra Achar. He is also working on a film with Srimurali, with the official title to be announced soon.
Amid these ongoing projects, Nee Nange Allava is being produced featuring newcomer Rahul in the lead. The Suram Movie banner is currently producing multiple films and creating platforms for new talent.
The film is directed by Manoj P Nadulmane, known for Aan and Mary. The talkie portion of the film has already been completed. The film revolves around the story of a middle-class boy and is positioned as a family entertainer.
