PRODUCER S.V. BABU BUILDS TEMPLE

Well-known Kannada films producer and businessman S.V. Babu, who has made tasteful Kannada films such as Josh, Savi Savi Nenapu, Honeymoon Express, Ricky, Pataki, Mane Martakkide and others has built a grand temple at G.P.R. Grande Layout, Chandapura.
The temple houses deities Sri Maha Ganapathi, Sri Venkateshwara, and Sri Lakshmi Padmavathi Devi, and the idol consecration (Prana Pratishthapana) ceremony was held recently with great devotion. Spread across an area of about 8,000 sq. ft., the temple has been built in an impressive style.
The idols were sculpted by the team of renowned Mysuru sculptor Arun Yogiraj, who also carved the idol of Ram Lalla at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
The three-day grand celebrations witnessed the presence of thousands of devotees. Dignitaries including Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce president M. Narasimhulu, former president Sa. Ra. Govindu, Secretary D.K. Ramakrishna, and actresses Priya Hassan and Karunya Ram were present on the occasion.
