On the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended warm greetings to the people of Karnataka, celebrating the state’s heritage, cultural pride, and the industrious spirit of its people.

In a message shared on his official X handle, the Prime Minister said that Kannada Rajyotsava is not only a day of pride but also a celebration of Karnataka’s contribution to India’s growth. He highlighted the state’s excellence in literature, art, music, and innovation, describing Karnataka as a land that blends progress with wisdom.

Prime Minister’s Message
Posting both in English and Kannada, the Prime Minister wrote:
“Today, when we mark Kannada Rajyotsava, we celebrate the spirit of excellence and industrious nature that the people of Karnataka are synonymous with. We also celebrate the outstanding culture of Karnataka, reflected in its literature, art, music and more. The state embodies the spirit of progress rooted in wisdom. I pray that people of the state are happy and healthy.”
In Kannada, he shared a heartfelt translation of his message:
“ಇಂದು, ನಾವು ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತೀಕವಾಗಿರುವ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರಮಶೀಲ ಸ್ವಭಾವವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ, ಕಲೆ, ಸಂಗೀತ ಮತ್ತಿತರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲಿಸುವ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಹ ನಾವು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಈ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯ ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜನರು ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಿಂದ ಇರಲಿ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.”
