New developments have been seen in Uttar Pradesh politics as the election for the post of Uttar Pradesh BJP President was held today. The responsibility of conducting the election process was assigned to Union Minister Piyush Goyal as the Election Officer, former Union Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey as the State Election Officer, and BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde as the supervisor. Several meetings and discussions were organised to finalise the candidate for the party president’s post. So far, Pankaj Choudhary is being seen as the frontrunner in the election race. This election has become crucial, as the selected leader will guide the BJP in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha elections. According to sources, the election process will begin in the afternoon, and the results are expected to be declared tomorrow.
