The magnum opus of producer Ramesh Reddy ‘45’ has set the release date as December 25. The debut of century films music director Arjun Janya as director with stalwarts – Dr Shivarajakumar, Upendra, Raj B Shetty has gone peak in hype.
Initially, the film was scheduled to release on August 15, but since the CG work had not been completed, the release was postponed. Now, “45” is all set for a grand release on December 25. The announcement was officially made at a press meet by producer Ramesh Reddy and director Arjun Janya, who also spoke about the film.
Director Arjun Janya said: “We had earlier announced that the film would release on August 15. The VFX work for our film is being carried out in Canada. CG plays a very significant role in our film — around 40% of the movie involves graphics. Skilled Hollywood technicians from the Canadian company MARZ are handling the VFX. Though delayed, our intention is to deliver a film that everyone will appreciate. The CG work will be completed in a few days. Since December 25 is Christmas and a holiday season, families will have the time to come and watch the movie together. Moreover, it is also considered an auspicious day according to our gurus. That is why we chose to release the film on this date. This project started because of Shivarajkumar sir, and at this moment, I want to thank him, Upendra, Raj B. Shetty, and especially our producer Ramesh Reddy, who is making this film with so much love.”
Producer Ramesh Reddy said today it is a very auspicious day, and we are happy to announce the release date of our film. ‘45’ will be released grandly on December 25. Although we initially planned for August 15, the VFX work is still going on in Canada. Under the guidance of Mysuru-based Yash Gowda, our VFX is progressing rapidly. This is also the first Kannada film to have its VFX done by MARZ. As far as I know, no other Kannada film has had this much graphic work. We are not doing CG just for the sake of it — the story itself demands it. I am making sure there are no compromises, and the audience will not be disappointed. ‘45’ is shaping up to be a quality film. Telugu distribution company Mythri Movie Makers has already shown interest in acquiring the distribution rights, but I told them we can discuss further once the film is complete. I wholeheartedly thank our director, the lead actors, and the entire team for their support in bringing out the best version of this movie mentioned the humble producer Ramesh Reddy.
