Nanu Matthu Gunda 2, five languages film, top song of the film was screened after the captivating trailer of the film at SRV theater in Malleswaram on Saturday evening.

The song Om Shivaya Namo Shivaya… Akasha Gangegu Pathala Gangegu… is beautifully sung by ace singer Vijayaprakash for the lyrics of fame writer Dr. V. Nagendraprasad. R.P. Patnayak returns to Kannada as music director with already coveted hits to his credit.
The special attraction of this Naanu Matthu Gunda sequel is Simba and Bunty. The senior Simba, the dog acted in the first part, is also seen in a few scenes in this film. As the Simba died in the middle, junior Simba is throughout the film with a small age Bunty of the same brand. The pets on the sets, working for 20 plus days, received VIP treatment. A separate AC accommodation was provided. One of the two dubbed while the other made a humming that is musical part of this film.
Dr. Nagendraprasad says the song he penned was an experimental one in his career. It is not a regular one. After the film, this song on Lord Shiva is haunting and it also gives clues to the story. Raghu Haasan, director and producer of the film, outlining on his sequel film said it is complete three years of journey for this October 2025. He is touching on reincarnation for pets. According to him, dog and cows carry the bondage with humans and that is everlasting.

This film is shot in outdoor locations like Ooty, Shivamogga, Bale Honnur etc. We have plans to have a pet premiere show. The owners of pets can come with their pets. It will be in an open theater. As of now, the film Nanu Matthu Gunda 2 is slated for release on September 5, he says. We have made this film in five languages. He thanked Vijayaprakash for singing this song as it was touching for him. He had a pile of 70 songs to sing but he surpassed it to sing our song. The only person who came to my mind for the divinity in the song is our respected Dr. V. Nagendra Prasad. In two sittings he finalized the song and put in great effort, he admires. The content was 4 hours after the shoot. Thought of another sequel but finally brought it down to 2 hours plus, says Raghu Haasan. The part I actors are not in this film and it is a new emotional journey, he adds.
Rakesh Adiga is innocent and his company Gunda, the dog for him. I had to carry on the child actor Vivan’s emotions and it was a bit challenging, he says. Rakesh Adiga remembered the divine force while breaking coconuts three times at MM Hills. All three times the coconut break was perfect into two pieces. All around wondered about this wonder happening, he says. Giving the dog company when he went to Kedarnath and Bhairavnath, Rakesh said a dog followed him throughout at the hilltop. Is this not a wonder? he asks.
The pretty and successful heroine Rachana Inder lauded for the good lyrics and as Indu in the film I have distinct combination. What is emotional for the two characters gives a new feel to viewers, she says. Rachana Inder is also a pet lover. She has a German Shepherd at her house.
Child actor Vivan disclosed it was bit difficult acting with pets. Dog trailer recalled the senior Simba and said it was a very tough situation to handle the dogs. They made us easy in fact.
