The film ‘Maayavi’, made mostly with fresh talents, is now ready for release. With the post-production work already completed, the team has released the trailer and songs of ‘Maayavi’. By giving audiences the first glimpse of the film, the makers have now set their promotional activities in motion.
From Chitradurga, young talent Raghuram is making his debut as the lead actor in Maayavi. He is paired opposite Nishchita Shetty as the female lead. Senior actor M. K. Math, along with Surya Praveen, Suresh Babu, Anuradha, Shilpa, Khushi Gowda, and others, play key roles in the film. Under the banner of Sri Durga Security Services, the film is produced by Dr. Mahantesh H., with Shankar G. writing the story and directing.
The Maayavi trailer and audio launch was graced by former Chitradurga MP Janardhan Swamy, and actors Tsunami Kitty and Ganeshrao Kesarkar, who unveiled the trailer and songs and extended their best wishes to the team.
Speaking after the release, lead actor Raghuram said “I am from Chitradurga. I completed my engineering and currently work in a private company. Acting in cinema has been my dream from the beginning, and that dream is coming true with Maayavi. My role has two shades and is very close to reality. It is a challenging character, and I believe audiences will like it.”
Director Shankar G. shared: “This is a suspense–crime thriller with a strong message at the end. We have made it in a way that will appeal to audiences of all kinds. The film has all elements – love, sentiment, action. Major portions were shot in Chitradurga, Bengaluru, and Hosapete. The film has received a ‘U’ certificate from the censor board.”
Producer Dr. Mahantesh H. added “The film has come out very well, just as we had envisioned. We wanted to make this film to provide a platform for many fresh talents from Chitradurga. We will be bringing Maayavi to theatres very soon.”
Actors Surya Praveen, Suresh Babu, stunt director Vikram, and others present at the event shared their experiences working on Maayavi.
The film’s music is composed by Agasthya Santosh, with playback singers Vijay Prakash, Meghana, and others lending their voices. Cinematography is by Gurudatta Musuri, and editing by Anil Kumar.
With its trailer and songs already grabbing cine-goers’ attention, it remains to be seen how thrilling and suspenseful Maayavi will prove to be when it finally hits the theatres.
