Having worked with several directors and gained experience, Vedaguru has, for the first time, called the shots for the action-cut, directing the film ‘Radheya’ starring Krishna Ajay Rao in the lead. The movie is grandly releasing across the state this Friday (21-11-25).
The film is produced by Ved Guru himself under the Keerthi Chahna Cinema Factory banner.
Krishna Ajay Rao and Sonal Monteiro have acted as the hero and heroine of the film.
‘Radheya’ is another name for Karna from the Mahabharata. Since Karna’s foster mother was Radha, he was also called Radheya. The hero of this film possesses the same quality of sacrifice that Karna had, and hence the film has been titled with that name.
Though this is a love-genre film, the director has attempted to present it in a different way. The story narrates how the hero Radheya protects his love, what kinds of obstacles and dangers he faces and overcomes to succeed in it. The plot revolves around the character of a man who is in jail, and the film has been shot around Bengaluru.
Sonal Monteiro has acted as a crime reporter for a local channel. This film has music composed by Vian (Sandy), cinematography by Rummy, and editing by Suresh Aarmugam.
‘Forest’ Kannada film producer Kantaraju is releasing the film.
