The teaser of Kumbha Sambhava, directed by T.N. Nagesh, has been released. The film has completed shooting and is currently in post-production.
Priya, who gained recognition for her role as Girija in Bheema, plays the lead role in this film, once again appearing as a police officer. At the teaser launch event, Dr. Sri A.V. Srinivasan, founder of Paripoorna Sanatana Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, released the teaser and wished success for the film, which carries a social message.
Produced under the banner of Milky Moon Movies by Naga Nayak, Naresh Kumar, Tara R., Sunanda, and Purushottam, the film is based on a real incident near Mandya. The story delivers a message against female foeticide. The makers plan to release the film in October.
Director T.N. Nagesh stated that it was a pleasure to have Guruji Srinivasan, who had also blessed the team during the film’s muhurtha, release the teaser. He added that the cooperation of technicians has been valuable in the film’s making.
Priya said that she was impressed with the story narrated by director Nagesh and felt glad to be part of a socially relevant subject. She revealed that her character is named Janaki, a police officer.
The cast includes Shobith, Madhushree, Aadidev, Shankar Ashwath, Arjun Dev, Kote Prabhakar, Vijay Chendoor, Kamal, and Mubarak. The technical team features cinematographer Siddaraju and editor Akash Mahendrakar. Executive producers are Ningaraju and Valli.
