NEW YORK — Pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau dined together at a Montreal restaurant.
Their Monday “dinner date” was caught on film by TMZ, which said Trudeau picked up the tab on a feast that included lobster, tuna and lamb.
Photos from earlier in the day show the pair walking through Montreal’s Mount Royal Park for around 90 minutes before grabbing a bite.
Perry and Trudeau are both believed to have become single somewhat recently. No public displays of affection were observed during their outings.
Representatives for Perry and Orlando Bloom recently confirmed the couple’s split on July 3. The pair had dated for about nine years, according to People. They have a daughter together. The 40-year-old singer is in Canada for her Lifetimes Tour.
Trudeau, 53, divorced Sophie Grégoire Trudeau in August 2023 after 18 years of marriage. He had served as Canada’s prime minister for nearly a decade before stepping down in March.
