The Karnataka State Police has launched a public awareness initiative urging citizens to stay safe online and protect themselves against the growing threat of cybercrime. The campaign emphasizes the importance of cautious online behavior under the slogan “Stop Cybercrime – Think Before You Click.”
With cybercriminals employing increasingly sophisticated tactics, the police are reminding internet users to verify information before sharing it and to safeguard their passwords at all times. Online scams, phishing, data theft, and fraudulent transactions are among the common cyber threats faced by individuals across the state.
