Super 4s stage
India entered the summit clash brimming with confidence following their emphatic 7-0 win against China in the Super 4s stage, where Abhishek scored twice and Shilanand Lakra, Dilpreet, Mandeep, Raj Kumar Pal, and Sukhjeet all found the net. That performance underlined India’s attacking depth and momentum ahead of the final.
The title clash saw India assert control from the opening minutes, pressing high and converting opportunities efficiently. Dilpreet’s sharp finishing set the tone, while Sukhjeet’s persistence and Rohidas’ precision reinforced the advantage. Korea’s resistance came too late to alter the outcome.
With this result, India not only added another Asia Cup to their cabinet but also secured a direct ticket to the World Cup, reaffirming their stature as one of the continent’s strongest sides. The win reflects both their attacking prowess and defensive solidity, highlighting a well-rounded performance in a high-stakes contest.
