The trailer of the film Green was unveiled by Karunada Chakravarthy Shivarajkumar recently and in a video bite the super star wished the team of a great success. We have heard about ‘Green Revolution’ and this film is expected to create a sort of revolution after the release in theaters!
This psychological mind-bending thriller is set to hit the screens on October 23. That is ‘Green’ that is hitting the Kannada Nadu screens after national and international accolades. This is no doubt a technically driven cinema with many layers that leaves lasting impact after you leave the theater claims the director a VFX expert Raj Vijay.
‘Green’ with many breath taking moments in the trailer itself is presented by Gunadya Productions, produced and directed by Raj Vijay and B.N. Swamy, the film stars Balaji Manohar, Gopalakrishna Deshpande, R.J. Vicky and others in prominent roles.
Expressing his gratitude to Shivarajkumar for releasing the trailer, director and producer Raj Vijay said, “Since childhood, I have always dreamed of becoming a film director. Today, that dream has come true. I’ve previously worked as an assistant director with a few Kannada filmmakers. This is my directorial debut. I’m also a VFX technician. ‘Green’ is a psychological mind-bending thriller — a rare kind of film in Kannada. It’s a psychological thriller that astonishes the human mind. The story revolves around a protagonist who battles the inner demon that controls his entire life. The story is set in a forest, and most of the shooting took place near Ooty. This film has 22 minutes of special effects and dialogues are very less in the film. The film’s impact the director Raj Vijay is expecting in a big way for all class of people.
So far, ‘Green’ has been screened at prestigious national and international film festivals and has bagged 21 awards. While foreigners have appreciated this film from our land, I’m confident that our own people, especially Kannadigas, will embrace it too. The film will be released across Karnataka on October 23. It is being presented by Nishanth on behalf of Gunadya Productions, and Manoj of Ravi Films will distribute it across the state observed intelligent director and producer Raj Vijay.
“I loved the film after watching it. The climax of the last fifteen minutes is something nobody can predict — it’s brilliant. That’s why I’m standing with this team,” said Nishanth.
“My role is also good. It was a unique experience acting while seated in a wheelchair,” said R.J. Vicky. Actors Shiva Manju, Vishwanath, Dimpy Fadia, cinematographer Madhusudan, and music director Shakti Sack spoke about “Green.” Murudayya, Ramachandra, Girish and others are also part of the cast.
The film’s promotional activities have already been carried out in Bengaluru and Mysuru in unique ways, with S Studios handling the promotional strategy.
