The team behind the upcoming Kannada film Green, starring Gopalakrishna Deshpande and Balaji Manohar in lead roles, has initiated a unique promotional campaign during the Navaratri festival. The film is directed by Raj Vijay, and jointly produced by Raj Vijay and B.N. Swamy. It is being brought to the screen by Gunadya Productions, a new banner headed by Nishanth N.N.
As part of its promotional strategy, posters with QR codes were displayed across various locations in Bengaluru. When scanned, the code would lead users to the teaser of Green. Over 3,000 people have already viewed the teaser through this method.
In addition, the film features a character known as the “Mask Man.” A person dressed in the character’s costume was sent around different parts of the city to attract public attention. Some people were surprised, while others were startled upon seeing the Mask Man. The character also made appearances in Mysuru, where both residents and tourists engaged in the Dasara festivities reacted positively to the campaign.

A promotional vehicle playing the film’s teaser was also driven around Mysuru as part of the campaign. The film team plans to announce the release date later this month. Green has already been screened at several national and international film festivals, earning both awards and critical acclaim.
The cast of Green includes Gopalakrishna Deshpande, Balaji Manohar, RJ Vikki, Vishwanath Mandalik, Shiva Manju, and Dimpy Fadia. Cinematography is by K. Madhusudhan, and music is composed by Shakti.
Green is described as a psychological thriller that delves into the depths of the human mind. The story and screenplay have been written by director Raj Vijay himself.
