The “Pilinilike” (Tiger Dance) event organized by Mithun Rai during the Dasara celebrations in Mangaluru was held in a grand manner recently. The event saw the presence of several notable personalities including actors Kiccha Sudeep, Suniel Shetty, Zaid Khan, Pooja Hegde, and cricketers Ajinkya Rahane and Jitesh Sharma.
Actor Zaid Khan, impressed by the tiger dance performance of one of the teams, announced a cash prize of ₹2 lakh on the spot to encourage them. Additionally, moved by the performance of one of the young dancers, he announced a personal reward of ₹50,000 for the dancer.
Zaid Khan is currently acting as the lead in the upcoming film Cult. The shooting of the film has been completed and post-production work is underway. Songs and the teaser already released have received a positive response from the audience.
