‘Anveshakaru Art Foundation (R)’, based in the Hyderabad-Karnataka region, has announced a seven-month free workshop focused on acting, direction, and short film production. The training is scheduled to take place from July 26, 2025, to January 31, 2026, and is open to youth from both rural and urban parts of Karnataka. The foundation has been conducting educational theatre journeys for school and college students over the past ten years and is now entering its seventh year.

This year, fifteen students will be selected for the programme, including ten male and five female participants who have a strong interest in acting. The selected candidates will undergo training under experts from the fields of cinema and theatre. The workshop includes a combination of theatre training, educational theatre journey, and cinema-related sessions covering acting, storytelling, screenplay, dialogues, editing, cinematography, direction, and production. It also features an integrated one-month cinema orientation workshop lasting between one week and ten days. Training sessions will be accompanied by performance opportunities, and participants will be provided free food and accommodation. On days when performances are held, participants will receive an honorarium based on their abilities.

Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years of age and should have either passed or failed Second PUC. The selection interview will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Vidyasagar Convent in Davanagere.
