Nam Rishi, known for the song “Olitu Maadu Manusa,” has taken up production, direction, and acting in the film ‘Fraud Rishi’. The film’s second song, “Ivane Ivane Fraud Rishi,” written by Nam Rishi, composed by Shriguru, and sung by Somashekar, was recently released by producer K. Manju. This song has been released on Nam Rishi Audio’s YouTube channel.
“To make a movie, money is not necessary; a good team is. A good team means people should love each other. If they grow, we should feel happy. If we grow, they should feel happy. Small fights will happen, but there must be a team that raises above all that. With the cooperation of Madhu, Somashekar, Harikrishna, Manjunath, and others, this film is taking shape. I don’t pay money to artists to make them act. There are two kinds of artists. Some are professional artists. Others act out of passion. The ones with passion don’t need money. Professional artists have to be paid. But if you choose those who act out of passion, even without giving them money, it will work, and you also get their cooperation. I am making this film with such people,” said Rishi.
This film will release in December. Shooting will begin from October 10. It is not a big-budget film, but the content is very good. The film has eight songs. I am using three of my successful songs in this film. I am making this with a small budget. Shankar is the cinematographer and Shriguru has given the music. I have built a good team. There are four heroines in the film. Why so many? You will know when you watch the film. For this film, I have chosen a subject that no one has touched till now and everyone hesitates to talk about. It is a story with a sensitive subject. I believe people will like the film says Rishi.
Why have we titled it Fraud Rishi? You will know when you watch the film. Fraud means someone who cheats. We usually try to change others. But instead of preaching to others, we must first realize how much we have changed ourselves. If we call others frauds, society will not accept it. But if we call ourselves frauds, no one will question it—that’s why I gave this title. There is a good message in the film. As part of the pre-production, already two songs have been released. The songs are receiving a good response. I thank K. Manju for releasing the song,” said Nam Rishi.
Interesting to know is that Rishi a habitual alcoholic has given up and promises not to touch it in future. There are four heroines for him in this Kannada film ‘Fraud Rishi’. The film carries a caption ‘Ninage Savide’.
