The much-awaited film ‘Andondittu Kaala’ is all set for release on August 29, coinciding with the Gauri Ganesha festival. Ahead of the release, the film’s team launched a moving mother-son song titled “Maharaja Hagendu… Manasaare Haaraiside Neenamma” at a press meet, which began with special prayers to Lord Ganesha.
Penned by KGF fame lyricist Kinnall Raj and sung by Sunil Kashyap, the song is being hailed as a “Mother’s Anthem” for its deep emotional appeal. This marks the third track from the film, following two already popular hits.
Speaking at the event, lead actor Vinay Rajkumar said, “This film is very special to me compared to all my earlier ones. Each song has been crafted differently, and this mother-son song especially tugs at the heart. The story is based on real-life incidents from director Keerthi’s life, particularly his journey in cinema. I play a role with three distinct shades, and this has been a three-year journey of hard work. My on-screen mother, played by Aruna Balraj, is acting with me for the third time. This is a feel-good film that people of all age groups will relate to. We seek everyone’s support.”
Actress Aditi Prabhudeva added, “This mother-son song is very close to my heart. The lyrics carry profound meaning—every mother wishes her child to live like a king, and the song beautifully captures that. Just like the love and encouragement you all showed for the first two songs, we hope for the same response here as well. The characters in the film are very close to real life, making it easy for the audience to connect.”
Producer Bhuvan Suresh shared “The film will release in over 180 theaters through distributor Jagadish Films. We wanted to present this Gauri Ganesha festival as a feast for the audience. This story revolves around the life of a director, and Keerthi has brought it alive wonderfully. I also play a small role in the film. I am confident that the film will win everyone’s hearts.”
Director Keerthi Krishna expressed, “Two songs have already become super hits, and we are hopeful this mother-son track will follow the same path. This film is the result of three years of effort and is partly inspired by real-life stories. It carries emotions of love, friendship, and sentiment, and the emotional connect is what makes it very special. Shooting took place in and around Thirthahalli and Bengaluru. I request everyone to watch the film in theaters and support us.”
Veteran actress Aruna Balraj, who plays the mother, said, “I just watched the lyrical video for the first time, and it touched my heart deeply. The story shows how a mother blesses her son and sends him off, and how he goes on to makes a name for him. I have acted with Vinay three times now, and each time the role has been different. This film beautifully portrays a mother’s struggles and sacrifices for her children. The camerawork is also exceptional. I believe this film will resonate with everyone.”
Other members of the team including Jagappa (playing the hero’s friend), dance choreographer Raghu Master, cinematographer Abhishek G. Kasargod, and child actors also shared their experiences.
The film also features a special guest appearance by Crazy Star V. Ravichandran, along with Nisha Ravikrishnan and others in pivotal roles. Andondittu Kaala is produced by Bhuvan Suresh under the banner Bhuvan Cinemas, written and directed by Keerthi Krishna. Music is composed by Raghavendra V, editing by A.R. Krishna and Suresh Arumugam, stunts by Ravi Varma, and promotions handled by Sumanth.
Andondittu Kaala will be released grandly across Karnataka on August 29, 2025.
