Director Simple Suni, known for presenting new talent in Kannada cinema, is introducing actor Dushyant as the lead through the upcoming film Gathavaibhava. Dushyant, who hails from Tumakuru, has trained at Tent Cinema Acting School and has experience in street plays, short films, and music videos. He also attended Krishna’s acting workshop in 2019 and learned performing skills at Pushkar Acting Institute. He received further guidance under actor Dhananjay at Ninasam.
For his role in Gathavaibhava, Dushyant has undergone preparation including a 20 kg weight transformation, dance practice, martial arts, and gymnastics. The film is described as a romantic story with elements of fantasy and references to Sanatana Dharma. Actress Ashika Ranganath plays the female lead opposite Dushyant. She has stated that her role in this film will remain memorable in her career.
The film has also drawn attention with remarks made by actor Shivarajkumar regarding Dushyant and the team. Produced under the banners of Servagar Silver Screens and Suni Cinemas, the film is jointly produced by Deepak and Simple Suni. Cinematography is by William David (of Vikrant Rona), and music is composed by Juda Sandy. The teaser and songs including “Varnamaale” and “Ship Song” have already been released.
Gathavaibhava is scheduled for a worldwide release on the 14th of this month in Kannada and Telugu languages.
