The legendary Vidyarthi Bhavan turned its iconic dosa-making into dance, with staff performing to a hit track in a viral video titled Do From Vi, now buzzing across social media.
Bengaluru’s iconic dosa hub Vidyarthi Bhavan has swapped sizzling pans for dance steps, at least for a few minutes. In a delightful twist, the restaurant’s social media handle recently shared a video titled Do From Vi, a playful Bengaluru version of the hit Su From So.
The video stars Vidyarthi Bhavan’s very own staff: dosa makers, servers, and dishwashers. To the beats of the popular track Bandaro Bandaro Bhava Bandaro, the team breaks into coordinated dance moves, turning the hustle of hotel work into a celebration of rhythm.

The playful caption,“Do From Vi = Dosa From Vidyarthi Bhavan”, perfectly captured the spirit. Customers are used to seeing these staff members expertly flip dosas, carry steel tumblers of filter coffee, or clear crowded tables. Watching them step into a dance routine with the same energy has struck a chord online.
The video has quickly gone viral, attracting waves of likes, shares, and comments praising the hotel for showing a fun, human side of its hardworking team. For a Bengaluru institution that has been serving crisp dosas for decades, this light-hearted experiment has made it clear: tradition and trend can indeed go hand in hand.
