Sharing this happy news on Instagram, Diljit recalled the impact of the original Kantara film on him. He wrote emotionally:
“Salute to big brother Rishab Shetty. He truly created a masterpiece. I have a personal connection with that film which I cannot put into words. But when the song ‘Varaha Roopam’ played in the theatre, my eyes welled up with tears of joy.”
For this highly anticipated film releasing on October 2, Diljit also expressed his joy of working with music director Ajaneesh Loknath. “I learned so much from him in just one day,” he said.
The collaboration between Diljit Dosanjh and Rishab Shetty is certain to bring a refreshing musical touch to Kantara – Chapter 1, produced by Hombale Films.
Kantara – Chapter 1 will be released worldwide on October 2, 2025.
