The dialogue “Congratulations Brother,” which gained significant traction on social media, has now become the title of a new Kannada film. The movie, produced by Prashanth Kalloor under the banners of Kalloor Cinemas, Pen n Paper Studios and Screen First Production, is directed by Pratap Gandharva. The story is written by director Hari Santhosh, who has also worked as the creative head. The film features young actor Rakshit Nag in the lead role, with Sanjana Das as the female lead. Harish Reddy is the co-producer. The film is scheduled for release across the state on November 21.
A pre-release event was held ahead of the film’s release, where actor Darling Krishna attended as the chief guest. Krishna said he liked the title of the film and the trailer, and expressed confidence that the film would be good. He added that he would watch the film in theatres and wished well for the new team and the producers who have invested in the project.

The film began production a year ago. Hari Santhosh stated that he and a group of friends with an interest in writing started Pen n Paper Studios, where they developed multiple stories. To turn these into films, they required producers, after which Prashanth Kalloor came on board. Harish Reddy later joined the production team. Santhosh wrote the story and worked as the creative head. He said the team’s effort shows signs of success and that those who watched the film at the premiere responded positively. He added that he has 45 stories ready and would make all of them with the same team if this film succeeds.
Director Pratap Gandharva said the team has made a film and is presenting it to the audience, requesting their support. Lead actor Rakshit Nag said the team has travelled across Karnataka for promotions and received encouraging responses. He requested audiences to watch the film in theatres when it releases on November 21. Actors Sanjana Das, Anusha, Rakshit Kapu, Sudarshan and Chetan Durga spoke about the film and their roles. Co-producer Harish Reddy was present at the event.
