The court also issued several directions to the jail authorities regarding the treatment of the accused. It instructed that the inmates be provided a bedsheet and clothes every month, and if possible, be shifted to a different barrack for security and administrative convenience.
Meanwhile, the application filed by Accused No. 5 (Nandeesh) requesting to withdraw from the case was rejected by the court. Additionally, the prosecution’s plea for an expedited trial was accepted, with the judge urging both sides to cooperate during the evidence examination phase.
