Produced under the banners of Kalloor Cinemas, Pen & Paper Studios and Screen First Production by Prashanth Kalloor, directed by Pratap Gandharva, with renowned director Hari Santosh writing the story and serving as the creative head, and starring young actor Rakshith Nag as the hero along with Sanjana Das and Anusha as the heroines, the film “Congratulations Brother” was released on November 21. The film is continuing its successful run even in the second week. To share this happiness, a success meet was organized where the team spoke.
Producer Prashanth Kalloor, who spoke first, said: “I had not planned to produce a film at this time. But Hari Santosh did not let me back out. Later, I stood with this new team. Hari Santosh has worked excellently as a creative head, and so has the entire team. Even in the second week, people are watching our film. I too recently watched the film with my family. My father of 85 years patted my back after watching it. That, for me, is the real victory. Thank you to all of you who have supported us from the beginning. Going forward, our banner has plans to produce three films in two years.”
“I am someone who loves my work very much. And the team I have received is just like that. Everyone worked day and night for this film. Before the release, they travelled with us to 24 districts across the state. Because of that, the film has reached the people of Karnataka. The support from producer Prashanth Kalloor, News First’s Ravikumar and Harish Reddy has been immense. Artists and technicians who watched our film have received opportunities in other projects. What more happiness does one need?” said Creative Head Hari Santosh.
“Many people wondered how a serial director might have made a film. But after watching the movie, they said it does not carry any shades of television serials. My thanks to the producers who trusted me and invested, and to Hari Santosh, who even though he is a director himself, gave me complete freedom in direction, as well as to the entire team,” said director Pratap Gandharva.
“After acting in this film, I have now received offers to act in two or three other films. This was possible because of the producers of this film and Hari Santosh,” said lead actor Rakshith Nag.
Heroines Sanjana Das and Anusha, as well as actors Sudarshan, Chetan Durga and other members of the film team shared their happiness about the success through their words.
