Colors Kannada is bringing a new family serial titled Shree Gandhada Gudi, which will premiere on October 6 and will be telecast every night at 8 PM. The serial tells the story of a household where men live together without the presence of women. Into this setting enters a daughter-in-law, and the narrative follows whether her arrival brings a change in both the state of the household and the mindset of its members.
At the centre of the story is Nataraj, a devoted admirer of Dr. Rajkumar, who has named his four sons Mutturaj, Satya Harishchandra, Kanteerava, and Mayura. Each son leads his own path in life, but the family carries the burden of Nataraj’s reputation. He is depicted as a drunkard and an irresponsible man without direction, whose behaviour has brought disrepute not only to himself but also to his children. The villagers believe that no woman would willingly become part of such a family, and even if she did, living there would be nearly impossible.

In this backdrop, a woman enters the household. The serial raises questions about why she comes, what compels her to stay, and how she eventually takes responsibility to improve the family’s situation. It portrays her role in reshaping both the home and the lives of those within it. Produced under the banner of Katha Creations by Parikshith M S and Pradeep Azri, the serial is directed by Prakash Muchhalagudda. The cast includes Shishir Shastri, Bhavish, Sanjana Burli, Karisubbu, Ashwath Neenasam, Jayanth, and Gagan Deep.
