The muhurat of the film Beat Police was held near the Nelamangala Police Station. The film is being produced under the banner of Arya Films by R. Lakshmi Narayan Gowda and directed by choreographer M.R. Kapil.
Action director Kaurava Venkatesh plays the lead role in the film, while Bheema fame actress Priya appears as a police officer. Actor Dragon Manju will be seen in a negative role.
Producer R. Lakshmi Narayan Gowda said, “This is the fourth film from our banner Arya Films. The story is based on real-life incidents. The film features Priya, Dragon Manju, Suchendra Prasad, and Papa Pandu fame Chidanand, among other talented artists. The shoot will take place over 25 days, and the film will have four songs and four fight sequences. The story highlights the issues surrounding the current education system and serves as a cautionary tale for society, showing how people must remain aware and alert.”

Lead actor Kaurava Venkatesh said, “I play the role of Gurkha in the film. The story is conceptualized by our producer, and we’ve brought it to life on screen. Interestingly, the producer also plays a villain in the film. We’ve shot around Bengaluru. The cinematography is by Munjane Manju, music is composed by Rajesh, and Nam Rishi has written four songs for the film.”
Director Kapil said, “Beat Police is based on real-life events. It deals with the education scam and shows how talented students are being deceived and what consequences arise from it. The shooting will take place around Bengaluru and will be completed within 25 days.”
Actor Dragon Manju shared, “This is my tenth film. Though I play a villain, my character undergoes a transformation at one stage.” Actress Priya said, “I play the role of DCP Bhargavi. The producer had approached me earlier for a project, and I couldn’t do it then. I’m glad to collaborate this time. I’ve also previously worked with Kaurava Venkatesh.”
The film, built around the pros and cons of today’s education system, features a different and socially relevant storyline. Produced by R. Lakshmi Narayan Gowda — who earlier made the film Kolar a decade ago — Beat Police stars action director Kaurava Venkatesh in the lead, Bheema fame Priya as a police officer, and actor Shobaraj also appearing as a police officer.
