Several low-lying areas in Karnataka, downstream of major reservoirs, are reeling under flood threat, as heavy rain is expected to continue, especially in the coastal and Malnad districts, in the coming week. The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) on Sunday issued flood warnings to regions downstream of Krishnarajasagar and Tungabhadra reservoirs.
