The Bengaluru police said Monday they have arrested a 24-year-old gym trainer and five of his associates for allegedly robbing two women software engineers by posing as policemen during a birthday party at their house earlier this month. Landmark proposal aims to reshape inclusion in private sector employment and higher education across Karnataka.The Karnataka government has issued the draft of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Employment and Education Bill, 2025, proposing one of the most extensive frameworks for inclusion in the State’s private sector and higher education system. The Bengaluru police said Monday they have arrested two more people in connection with their investigation into the ATM cash van robbery during which Rs 7.11 crore was looted earlier this month, bringing the number of those held to nine. The police said the arrested men have been identified as Dinesh and Jinesh. Following multiple search operations carried out last week across Bengaluru, Gurgaon, and Delhi, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has frozen assets worth over Rs 523 crore in a major crackdown on two online gaming platforms accused of fraud, algorithmic manipulation, and violations of India’s ban on real-money games.The ED’s Bengaluru Zonal Office conducted the searches during November 18-22, targeting the firms Pocket52, operated by Nirdesa Networks Pvt Ltd, and WinZO Games Pvt Ltd.
