Noida police recently busted a narcotics smuggling ring in Noida, Uttar Pradesh and arrested five accused, including ringleader Imran. The Phase 2 police seized cash worth ₹38,000 and 11 kg of illegal marijuana, valued at around ₹1,00,000, from the possession of the accused, who were nabbed near Bhuda Tiraha in Sector 81. The accused have been identified as Santosh Gupta from Mainpuri, Shaukeen from Bulandshahr, Sonu from Delhi, Afsar from Bulandshahr and Mohammad Irfan from Badayun. On 11th November, a suicide explosion outside a court complex in Islamabad resulted in at least 12 fatalities and around 27 injuries. The explosion happened close to the court building’s main gate in the capital’s G-11 neighbourhood. Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, a splinter group of the Pakistani Taliban later claimed responsibility for the deadly assault.
