The residents of Balehonnur in Karnataka’s Chikkamagaluru district observed a bandh Monday, demanding that the government take action on the issue of human-animal conflict after two people were killed in elephant attacks within five days. New Delhi: People with dementia are diagnosed an average of 3.5 years after symptoms are first noticed, according to a new study.  Early signs of dementia may include memory loss, difficulty finding words, confusion, and changes in mood and behaviour. The study, published in the International Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry, showed that younger age at onset and having frontotemporal dementia were both linked to a longer time to diagnosis.
