The film Raja Drohi, featuring veteran actor Anant Nag, Lakshmi, Sharan, and his parents in key roles, is all set to hit screens across Karnataka on August 8, coinciding with the Varamahalakshmi festival.
Produced under the banner of Dhanush Combines by Mahadevayya, the film is directed by Samarth Raj, who has also written the story, screenplay, dialogues, and lyrics.
The story of Raja Drohi revolves around the challenges faced in life and how people tackle unexpected situations. It deals with emotional themes, such as children not being able to recognize their own parents even when they’re right in front of them, and vice versa. As a series of unforeseen events unfold, the narrative takes several dramatic turns, delivering a gripping storyline.
The ensemble cast includes Abhijith, Orata Prashanth, Neenasam Ashwath, Achyuth Kumar, Kuriband Sunil, Bank Janardhan, Patre Ajith, Mansi, Sunitha Srinivas, Lalitha, Radhakrishna, Kuri Prathap, and Srilakshmi, among others.
The film’s music is composed by Raghu Thumakuru, with background score by Bhoopathi. Cinematography is handled by Satish Manohar, Venus Murthy, and Nagaraj. Editing is by Kumar Kotikoppa, art direction by Babu Khan, and stunts by Ultimate Shivu.
