Cricket Ireland has announced a strategic partnership with Ludimos, an Amsterdam-based leader in AI-driven video analytics, as its Official Data Analytics Partner.
The collaboration marks a significant step forward in Cricket Ireland’s ongoing investment in performance innovation — a theme that will be explored further at the Sport for Business Future Proofing Irish Sport event taking place on August 29th.
Ludimos, already working with high-profile IPL teams such as the Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore, will now bring its advanced platform to bear across Ireland’s senior international squads, domestic competitions, and player development pathways.
The platform allows coaches to deliver quicker, smarter feedback using video and data insights, while enabling players to track and improve performance through a seamless blend of technology and coaching expertise.
Empowering Players and Coaches Through Innovation
“This partnership strengthens our commitment to using innovative technologies to support talent development at all levels — from the grassroots to the international stage,” said Brendan Connor, Cricket Ireland’s Performance Services Manager.
“Ludimos’ technology is already helping our coaches streamline how they deliver feedback, track performance trends, and provide practical, actionable insights to players. Their data-sharing tools are also enhancing how players and coaches engage, whether in-person or remotely.”
With a growing emphasis on smart tech and performance insight in Irish sport, this partnership signals Cricket Ireland’s intent to stay ahead of the curve and provide athletes with the tools they need to compete on the global stage.
A Competitive Edge for Ireland’s Cricketers
Madan Rajagopal, Founder and CEO of Ludimos, welcomed the new partnership.
“We’re incredibly proud to partner with Cricket Ireland and support their commitment to developing world-class talent through smart, data-driven coaching.
Our technology is designed to give players and coaches deeper insights, faster feedback, and a clear competitive edge. We look forward to supporting Ireland’s push to consistently compete and succeed on the world stage.”
Future-Proofing Performance in Irish Sport
This collaboration reflects a broader shift in Irish sport toward adopting high-performance tools that extend far beyond the elite tier — providing opportunities and insights to players from academy through to international level.
The role of data and technology will take centre stage at Sport for Business’ Future Proofing Irish Sport event on August 29th, where leaders from across the sporting, business and technology landscape will explore how to turn smart investments like this into sustainable competitive advantage.
