The team of the upcoming pan-India film The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas, held a pre-release event in Hyderabad ahead of the Sankranti festival. During the event, the cast and crew shared details about the film and its release plans.
Prabhas, who was the main attraction of the event, said the film was made with the intention of providing complete entertainment to audiences. He stated that he became convinced about the project after watching the climax written by director Maruthi. He also wished success to all films releasing during Sankranti and announced that the trailer of The Raja Saab will be released on December 29.
Speaking further, Prabhas said he liked the story when Maruthi narrated it and highlighted the climax as a key element. He mentioned that the film includes elements of full-length entertainment that audiences have associated with him in earlier phases of his career. He also spoke about senior actor Zarina Wahab’s role in the film.
Director Maruthi said this is his 12th film and described the project as a significant opportunity for him. He stated that the emotional portions of the film affected him deeply during production. He added that the film is positioned as a horror-fantasy project and said the team aimed to make every scene engaging for audiences.
Producer T.G. Vishwa Prasad said The Raja Saab is the biggest production under the People Media Factory banner. He described the film as a large-scale attempt within the horror-fantasy genre. Creative producer SKN shared an incident from the shoot, recalling how Prabhas arranged Telugu meals for the entire team through a personal chef.
Actor Saptagiri spoke about the film after watching the trailer and referred to Prabhas appearing in a vintage-style look. Actress Malavika Mohanan said making her Telugu film debut alongside Prabhas was an important opportunity for her and mentioned that her role includes action and comedy in addition to songs. Actress Nidhhi Agerwal said acting with Prabhas was a long-time wish, while Riddhi Kumar said the film reflects Prabhas’s off-screen personality.
The film stars Prabhas along with Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar as the female leads. Zarina Wahab plays the role of Prabhas’s grandmother. Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani appear in key roles. The film has music composed by Thaman and cinematography by Karthik Palani. Produced by T.G.
