From the “Guliga… Guliga…” song of the film Koragajja when a question was posed about whether the ‘Guliga Daiva’ is pleased — the truth revealed through astrology.
Recently, as Zee Music released for the first time in Kannada the Koragajja movie’s Guliga… Guliga… song — sung by Javed Ali and Sudhir Attavar, with music by Gopi Sunder and lyrics by Sudhir Attavar — the song’s storm has spread across the nation. With the song becoming a sensation, some people began to wonder whether the fierce and terrifying deity ‘Guliga Daiva’ might have become angry because of the song or whether the deity might have been dishonored.
With this doubt in mind, director Sudhir Attavar today approached the renowned astrologer Varun Bhat from Thrissur, Kerala, who hails from Mangaluru, and posed the question. After introspection and analysis, he stated: “Because of Scorpio sign, Jupiter in the 9th house, Guliga in the 5th house, and Saturn’s position… Guliga is completely satisfied and happy. Koragajja is also happy, and the blessings of the deity are present.”
Regarding the Guliga… Guliga… song, discussions of support and opposition are raging on social media. Some individuals with distorted mindsets have even posted comments cursing the director and the film team. Others, out of jealousy and malicious intent, are posting comments saying that Guliga Daiva will spill blood and kill, and other such twisted remarks.
After hearing through astrology that Guliga is satisfied, producer Trivikram Sapalya and Vidhyadhar Shetty of Success Films have expressed delight. The producers have also appealed to the public not to post unnecessary negative comments and cause trouble, but instead to support the success of the film.
Under the banners of Trivikram Cinemas and Success Films, the much-awaited pan-India film Koragajja is progressing with full-fledged promotional activities ahead of its planned January release.
