The debut directorial film ‘Rudhiravana’ by Kannada filmmaker Agni has been selected for the IFFI Gala Premiere in Goa. The screening is scheduled for tomorrow, and the show has already gone houseful, according to the film team.
The cast of ‘Rudhiravana’ includes Pavana Gowda, Priya Shatamarshana (who played the role of Bhima Police), Ballarajwadi, Krishna Hebbale, Medini Kelamane, Avinash Rai, Arjun Kaje, and Apoorva. The film is based on a horror narrative, and the team states that it is designed to keep the audience at the edge of their seats.
The word ‘Rudhiravana’ means a blood-soaked forest. Sandeep Velluri handles cinematography, Ronad Bakkesh is the music composer, and Ullas Haidoor is the art director. Shashank Narayan is in charge of editing.
The film is a crowd-funded project. Agni, his friends, and subscribers of Agni’s YouTube channel have contributed to its making. The film is being produced under the banner of Point of View Picture House. Sanguine Holm Entertainment is supporting the project as the executive producer.
