The trailer launch event of ‘Akhanda 2’, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, was held in a grand manner at Chintamani near Chinnasandra in Chikkaballapur. A large stage was set up for the trailer release, and several prominent artistes were present. Hat-trick Hero Shivrajkumar attended as the special guest and conveyed his wishes to Balakrishna’s film. Fight master Ravi Varma, Ayyappa, Sharath Lohithashwa, and other members of the film team were also part of the event.
Speaking after the trailer launch, Shivrajkumar said, “I have come for my brother’s trailer launch event. We are one family. His father was like an elder uncle to me. Balayya is my brother. It makes me happy to attend their events.”
Nandamuri Balakrishna addressed the gathering, saying, “Greetings to the people of Karnataka. My regards to my younger brother Shivanna, my fans, and the audience watching this event. Our film Akhanda is releasing. Akhanda is not just a Telugu or Kannada film; it is a pan-India film.”
After this, Shivrajkumar recited a dialogue from his own film, followed by Balakrishna delivering a dialogue in his trademark style. The audience responded with whistles and applause.

Akhanda 2 is a fantasy action thriller directed by Boyapati Sreenu. Music is composed by Thaman. The film is produced under the ‘14 Reels Plus’ banner by Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta and presented by M. Tejaswini Nandamuri.
Sanyuktha plays the female lead opposite Balakrishna. Aadhi Pinisetty appears as the antagonist. Cinematography is by C. Ram Prasad and Santosh. Art direction is by A.S. Prakash, editing by Tammi Raju, and stunt choreography by Ram-Lakshman.
The film is scheduled for a pan-India release on December 5.
