In a surprising turn of events, latest trends for Anta Assembly by-election show Congress candidate Pramod Jain Bhaya emerging as the frontrunner.
As per the Election Commission of India’s website, Jain leads with more than 11,000 votes, followed by Independent candidate Naresh Meena, who is giving him a tough fight with over 10,000 votes.
In an unexpected result, BJP’s candidate Morpal Suman has slipped to third place, with just over 7,000 votes. This shift in voter sentiment comes as a major shock to the BJP, which had been confident of retaining the seat.
