Prashant Kishor Predicts Youth and Migrant Workers as Real ‘Game Changers’

The political temperature in Bihar has risen as Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor made a bold statement ahead of the upcoming elections, claiming that this time it will not be women, but the youth and migrant workers who will emerge as the real “game changers.” Kishor asserted that Bihar’s voters are now more aware and will not fall prey to vote manipulation or fear-based politics. Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Kishor said the “old formula” of seeking votes by invoking the fear of jungle raj will not work anymore. According to him, the people of Bihar are in a mood for change and have begun to reject the politics of intimidation and false promises. He further added that migrant workers, who have faced immense hardship, are not inclined to support the NDA this time. Dismissing attempts to lure voters with monetary incentives, Kishor remarked that “no one is ready to sell their future for ₹10,000.” His comments highlight a shift in Bihar’s political landscape, where the emphasis is now moving from caste and fear narratives to aspirations of the youth and the working class demanding genuine development.
